Step 1: Protection & Preperation

Before starting, we ask that you remove any personal and valuable/delicate items for yours and our peace of mind as well as any small furnishings. Once we arrive we are happy to move larger more difficult items such as televisions, beds, tables and cabinets etc and this service is included in the original quotation. 

Next we protect everything with a combination of heavy duty twill dustsheets for both furniture & flooring as well as plastic and tape for more delicate items such as fitted wardrobes, televisions etc. Flooring in high traffic areas such as staircases and hallways can be protected using Packexe which provides excellent protection against dust & paint and can be left down for the duration of the job. 

Work begins with the preparation of the walls and ceiling and woodwork as agreed beforehand using a range of tools to remove any old existing paint and wallpaper, fill where it may be needed and then sand all surfaces to make sure they are clean and tidy ready for paint application.

Step 2: Paint & Wallaper Application

Once all the walls, ceiling and woodwork are prepared and thoroughly cleaned to be free from dust and dirt we begin to apply paint. We use different brushes and rollers from Purdy, Hamiliton and many others to achieve the best finish for the job.   

We then can apply a range of different paint from multiple suppliers including but not limited to Dulux, Johnstones, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and many more. The colour and finish will be discussed beforehand with you through a range of colour charts and swatches. We can even provide sample pots of colours where available for a small fee if you are unsure between one or two shades of that favourite colour. Wallpaper is also applied at this stage if requested and woodwork is completed with multiple coats of finishing paint in your desired sheen with all woodwork getting a light sand between coats to get that perfect finish.

Step 3: Cleaning up

Lastly we start the final part of any job the finishing touches and cleaning up. Every job small or large receives the utmost care and attention to detail and cleaning when finished. We ensure all furnishings are free from dust and paint, all door hinges & handles are clean and tidy and ensure every room receives a thorough clean from top to bottom.

 

We make an active effort to be green and recycle and reuse materials where possible. Our paint can either be left with you for future reference or can be taken away to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way or recycled/donated.
